KYLIE-cosmetics-kylighter-review

Hey, guys! I’m SUPER excited about today’s review! Today is my birthday (22 💁🏼) and as one of my birthday gifts, my BFF Alex bought me the Kylie Cosmetics Ultra Glow powder highlighter (Kylighter) in Wisteria! Highlighters are my favorite makeup, and the second I swatched this highlighter I couldn’t wait to take pictures of it and write this review because it’s sook beautiful 😍 (so you can probably already tell it’s going to be a positive review lol). Keep reading for more details + pictures! –  L O OK S  – The second I opened my kylighter I realized this highlighter is NOT your everyday highlighter. It’s wayy too fabulous...

R E V I E W :: Boy Brow + Haloscope by Glossier

Boybrow-haloscope-review

Hey, guys! Today’s review is for Glossier’s “Boy Brow” brow gel + their Haloscope highlighter stick in moonstone! As you know if you read my last glossier haul, I’m a huge fan of Glossier, but I’m an even bigger fan of their Haloscope Highlighter sticks! I already have one in quarts, but I really wanted to try the moonstone because it’s a purple + opalescent color which I LOVE! Glossier is currently doing a Haloscope + Boy Brow duo for $30, and since I’ve been wanting to try Boy Brow gel because it’s a best seller, I went for the deal! Keep reading for my full review of each product,...

H A I R T U T O R I A L :: Easy Boho Braids

Hey, guys! Today I am sharing my first ever hair tutorial! One of the original reasons I started this blog was to share braids and other cool hairstyles (which I have been majorly slacking on) so hopefully expect to see more like this in the future! I think any simple outfit looks amazing as long as you have good hair, and braids can really take things to the next level! These boho braids are sooo easy, anyone can do them as long as you can do a basic braid! There’s nothing fancy going on here, even though it looks like you’ve put hours into your hair! Keep on reading to...

R E V I E W :: Maybelline MasterFix Setting Powder & Dream Brightening Creamy Concealer

Hey, guys! Today’s review is for two drugstore makeup products, both by Maybelline. Maybelline is probably my favorite drug store makeup brand! Not for any reason other than that everytime I go to Target to buy makeup, I always leave with Maybelline products (and Physician’s Formula, can’t forget them!). For this Target trip, I specifically needed setting powder and concealer.   When looking for concealer, I was looking for something with decent coverage, but also something that wasn’t liquid and creamy because I stopped wearing heavy creams last summer (my skin is 1,000,000 times better now, btw). I went with the Dream Brightening Creamy Concealer stick in the shade “fair”. ...

B E A U T Y :: Weekend Purchases

Happy Monday! Today’s post is a quick little roundup of the purchases I made this weekend! I recently got my tax returns back and while I saved 95% of what I got back, I decided to treat myself and cross a couple of things off my wish list! – Ray Bans – This weekend I bought my first ever pair of Ray Bans which I have wanted to buy for sooo long but I’ve had trouble coughing up the cash! I went to Sunglass Hut to see if they had the pair I was interested in, and they only had ONE pair left of the exact sun glasses I wanted!...

R E V I E W :: Lush Rainbow fun

Hey guys no big deal but I’m pretty sure I found the greatest product for minimalist traveling ever. The Lush Rainbow Fun is a colorful, delicious smelling clay that works as a shampoo, body wash, and a bubble bath!! When I first saw this roll of colorful clay in the Lush store I was confused about how play-dough (it’s also marketed as play-dough), could be shampoo, but the lady working at the store informed me that once the clay gets wet, you rub it in your hands and it becomes sudsy and can be used as shampoo and body wash! She told me she uses less than half of one...
