Wellness Wednesday :: Benefits of Natural Deodorant + JASON Deodorant Review

Wellness-natural-deodorant

Hey, guys! Today’s Wellness Wednesday post is all about natural deodorant! For years now, I’ve known about natural deodorant, and I’ve heard all about how regular deodorant contains some pretty dangerous stuff. Everyone from the earthy-crunchy hippie next door to Kourtney Kardashian, have made the switch from regular deodorants to natural deodorants, and thanks to my best friend Alex, who gave me a natural deodorant as part of my birthday gift (because it’s called JASON, which is my boyfriend’s name….or because I smell, haha), I can now say that I have also made the switch (which makes me one step closer to becoming a Kardashian…we already have the same initials…..*hair...

Hey, guys! I’m SUPER excited about today’s review! Today is my birthday (22 💁🏼) and as one of my birthday gifts, my BFF Alex bought me the Kylie Cosmetics Ultra Glow powder highlighter (Kylighter) in Wisteria! Highlighters are my favorite makeup, and the second I swatched this highlighter I couldn’t wait to take pictures of it and write this review because it’s sook beautiful 😍 (so you can probably already tell it’s going to be a positive review lol). Keep reading for more details + pictures! –  L O OK S  – The second I opened my kylighter I realized this highlighter is NOT your everyday highlighter. It’s wayy too fabulous...

R E V I E W :: Tarte Maracuja Oil

Hey, guys! Today’s quick review is for Tarte’s Maracuja face oil! I’ve already talked about this oil in my post about why face oils are amazing (here) and it’s also been featured in my daily skin care routine, here! This product is my absolute favorite face oil, and I love it so much that I think it deserves its own blog post! First off, this product is perfect for all skin types (even oily!!). A lot of people are scared of putting oil on their face (especially people with oily skin) because they’re afraid of breaking out, but it’s just the opposite! Adding oil to your skin with balance out...

R E V I E W :: Dove Dry Shampoo

 Hey guys! Today’s post is probably my first negative review that I’ve ever done! I usually won’t do a review if I don’t like a product because I don’t want to spread that kind of negativity, but I also don’t want people to think that I love e v e r y t h i n g  I try; so I am here to report to you one of my beauty disappointments: Dove Volume & Fullness dry shampoo.  I originally bought this dry shampoo in a rush on my way to work because I ran out of dry shampoo the day before, and if I’m being honest, my hair was...

R E V I E W :: Lush Rainbow fun

Hey guys no big deal but I’m pretty sure I found the greatest product for minimalist traveling ever. The Lush Rainbow Fun is a colorful, delicious smelling clay that works as a shampoo, body wash, and a bubble bath!! When I first saw this roll of colorful clay in the Lush store I was confused about how play-dough (it’s also marketed as play-dough), could be shampoo, but the lady working at the store informed me that once the clay gets wet, you rub it in your hands and it becomes sudsy and can be used as shampoo and body wash! She told me she uses less than half of one...

W E L L N E S S :: Why Beauty Oils are the Fountain of Youth You’ve Been Searching For!

You’ve read the title correctly- whether you have oily, dry, normal, sensitive, or combination skin- beauty oils are for you! If you asked me to willingly put oil on my face 1 year ago I would have laughed in your face…zit city!! I’ve learned to never say never, because today I am sharing all of the beauty oils I currently use, why I love them so much, and how they’ve changed my skin for life! As I’ve mentioned before, I decided to give beauty oils and essential oils a try after reading The French Beauty Solution by Mathilde Thomas. I loved the idea of using beauty oils as moisturizer because...
