Wellness Wednesday :: DIY Himalayan Salt Sole Health Drink

Himalayan-sole-diy

Hey, guys! Happy Wellness Wednesday #2! Today’s post is a DIY for Himalayan salt Sole (so-lay), which is filtered water that has been completely saturated with pink Himalayan salt! This drink provides soooo many health benefits, so it’s a 2018 goal of mine to start my day off with a glass of sole every morning! – WHAT IS HIMALAYAN SALT – Himalayan salt is a natural salt from the Himalayan mountains. It’s chemical free, it’s packed with minerals and nutrients, it provides numerous health benefits, and best of all, it’s PINK! Unlike table salt which infamously causes bloating and high blood pressure + a million other health issues, Himalayan salt...

D I Y :: All Natural Bronzer

Hey, guys! Today’s post is for DIY bronzer! As you may or may not know, I love makeup. I love everything about it….except that it’s loaded with chemicals. As someone who likes to eat as clean and chemical free as possible, the thought that I’m putting a bunch of chemicals on my face anyway is always in the background while I’m doing my makeup. I’ve switched my skin care routine and I got rid of all moisturizers that weren’t coconut oil, or other 100% natural oils. Read more about that here. Now, I can eliminate ONE more unnatural thing from the list: bronzer! I found this recipe on Pinterest from...

R E V I E W :: Tarte Maracuja Oil

Hey, guys! Today’s quick review is for Tarte’s Maracuja face oil! I’ve already talked about this oil in my post about why face oils are amazing (here) and it’s also been featured in my daily skin care routine, here! This product is my absolute favorite face oil, and I love it so much that I think it deserves its own blog post! First off, this product is perfect for all skin types (even oily!!). A lot of people are scared of putting oil on their face (especially people with oily skin) because they’re afraid of breaking out, but it’s just the opposite! Adding oil to your skin with balance out...

R E V I E W :: Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray

Hey guys! Today’s review is for the Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray which is something I have been wanting for sooo long! I was  shopping in Urban Outfitters the other day when I came across the rosewater, and since you’re reading this review right now, I assume you can guess how that went. (Hint: I bought the rosewater). I’ve been seeing this rosewater all over beauty blogs, which is probably because 1. It’s so darn pretty, and 2. because it’s only $7.00! I was expecting at least $30 based on it’s beautiful packaging and overall boujee-ness, so the low price was super exciting. The first thing I noticed about this...

R E V I E W :: Lush Rainbow fun

Hey guys no big deal but I’m pretty sure I found the greatest product for minimalist traveling ever. The Lush Rainbow Fun is a colorful, delicious smelling clay that works as a shampoo, body wash, and a bubble bath!! When I first saw this roll of colorful clay in the Lush store I was confused about how play-dough (it’s also marketed as play-dough), could be shampoo, but the lady working at the store informed me that once the clay gets wet, you rub it in your hands and it becomes sudsy and can be used as shampoo and body wash! She told me she uses less than half of one...

W E L L N E S S :: Why Beauty Oils are the Fountain of Youth You’ve Been Searching For!

You’ve read the title correctly- whether you have oily, dry, normal, sensitive, or combination skin- beauty oils are for you! If you asked me to willingly put oil on my face 1 year ago I would have laughed in your face…zit city!! I’ve learned to never say never, because today I am sharing all of the beauty oils I currently use, why I love them so much, and how they’ve changed my skin for life! As I’ve mentioned before, I decided to give beauty oils and essential oils a try after reading The French Beauty Solution by Mathilde Thomas. I loved the idea of using beauty oils as moisturizer because...
